In 1993, British engineers from Triumph presented a model to rival the stranglehold the Japanese market had on the market when it came to fast production bikes. The offering from British firm Triumph was the Daytona 1200. The 1180cc engine made matching its rivals for speed easy, it was Triumph's fastest and most powerful bike yet. Using the water cooled 16 valve engine from the Trophy 1200 sports tourer, Triumph bolted it into a frame that used top spec components. In 1998 Triumph decided to celebrate its market success with the Daytona and create 250 Special Editions with a limited edition paint job, huge 6 pot calipers up front and some other unique pieces.
This offering is #248 of the 250 produced and believed to be the ONLY SE in the United States. TITLE IN TRANSIT
