The Original/first Bentley Brooklands was the 4 ½ Litre blown single seater driven by Sir Henry Birkinin in 1929 and who, on two occasions broke the Brooklands race track outer circuit record. It was, without exception the fastest car in racing.
The legacy of the name lives on with modern Bentleys setting the standards for both high end luxury and sporty performance driving. They are both beautiful and a joy to drive. This particular Brooklands offers a unique opportunity, it is being sold with NO RESERVE!!
Each Brooklands was hand-assembled, employing traditional coach-building techniques and the craftsmanship skills in wood veneer and leather hide for which Bentley is renowned. To ensure exclusivity, production was strictly limited to just 550 cars. The Brooklands is powered by a 6.75-litre Bentley L Series twin-turbocharged OHV V8 engine, producing 530 bhp.
