One of 142 built with a 409 engine. 2-4 BBL carbs, dual traction stabilizers found only on Z cars. Over the counter race package. 4-speed Borg warner transmission, 3:73 posi-traction gears, factory 7000 tach, factory dash passenger assist handle.
It is 'one of a kind!' Has factory miss marked ID. It has 2 different numbers. Titled as a 2 dr hardtop V8 Impala. Door number said it's a '61 4 dr Bel-Air V8. Number goes all the way back to the factory. Built in Kansas City on 11-1-1961.
Special made headers by Hooker Super Comp, coated by Performance Coating. 3” in 2 ¼” out Aluminized Flowmaster by Wiland, American Racing wheels, 8 ½” wide 4 1/2” offset, BFG Drag Radial's 275-60-15 ( rear) 5” wide 3 ½ “ offset on BFG 215x70 R15 ( front).
