This rare Volvo 1800 ES wagon is in its original condition with the B20F fuel injected 4-cylinder engine and a Borg-Warner Type 35 automatic transmission. It has factory wheels and factory power 4 wheel disc brakes. The Sun Yellow paint shows well as does the interior for a 53 year old original car! These were known for their distinctive rear glass hatch which merges coupe and wagon elements. With wonderful styling, the 1800 is the work of Swedish designer Pelle Petterson, and built and also famous for longevity. A 1966 Volvo 1800 holds the world record at 3.2 million miles. According to Volvo records, production of the 1800ES was 3,069 units in 1972 and the ES sport wagon became a collectible in its own right, and continues to move the company, and its enthusiasts, today.
