While it is not necessary to pre-register, we strongly recommend that you do so, as it will only expidite the bidding process and enhance your auction experience.

BIDDER FEE: $50.00-includes 2 Guest Passes, daily valet parking & preferred seating. Bidder Registration is located on the first floor of the Hilton Convention Center in the glass atrium. The most convenient entrance will be the South Sycamore entrance underneath the skywalk across from the parking garage.

To pre-register we will need, a completed and signed bidder's registration form, a $50.00 bidder's registration fee, a copy of your driver's license, dealer information if applicable, and an approved and verified method of payment for vehicles purchased at the auction. Accepted methods of payment include checks verified by the bank they are written against with a bank letter of guarantee, a valid J.J. Best Banc & CO. account approved to the value of the vehicle purchased, or cash. You can send your registration form and bank letter to

Buying A Vehicle
If you are inexperienced as a buyer at auction, you may be unaware of specific operating procedures and obligations you may incur when you participate. We strongly urge that all potential bidders read and understand all terms of sale contained in our brochures, sale day programs, forms, contracts and the reverse side of the Bidder's Registration Application that will be signed. Announcements may be made at the beginning of the sale which can take priority over printed matter. A bidder will not be allowed to disregard his legal obligations expressed in these contracts. Since all vehicles are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES OF ANY TYPE, you are obliged to thoroughly research and inspect any car before it is purchased. Adjust your bidding according to problems and conditions of the car. Under auction law, you become the legal owner of the vehicle when the auctioneer says "sold." You remain legally responsible for tendering full, proper payment on sale day regardless of finding differences, faults or problems with the car after it is purchased.

After you have registered to bid and inspected your vehicle of interest, enter the auction ring and give your bid to our ring man or auctioneer. If you are successful, our clerk will approach you and ask you to sign the clerk ticket. You will retain a copy for your records. Within twenty minutes of your purchase, you should make payment at the auction office. All forms will be signed and when possible, the vehicle will be released to you.

Register As A Bidder
Your first step towards buying is to register as a bidder. You will be required to provide verification that you have the means to fully pay for each purchase made on sale day. Funds must be: cash, certified bank check or personal or company check accompanied by an irrevocable bank letter of guarantee. J.J. Best Banc & CO. will also have representatives on site. Paying by Cash
If you are paying by cash you will be asked to leave a $500.00 deposit at the time of registration. Cash purchases over $10,000.00 are fully reported to the federal government in accordance with applicable law.


After The Sale
Depending on your method of payment, it may be necessary to hold the vehicle's title for short period of time. The Branson Collector Auction prefers to avoid such an occurrence because it is an inconvenience to you and to us. If it is held, your title will be forwarded to you by registered mail as soon as we determine that proper funds have been received by our bank. Storage and transportation costs will be your responsibility. Professional trucking firms are usually present at the auction to assist you in making arrangements to ship your vehicle.

Insure Your Purchase
To protect your purchase against damage or theft, be sure to contact your insurance carrier to make the proper arrangements. Coverage should be in effect as of the fall of the hammer. The Branson Collector Car Auction does not provide insurance coverage of any type protecting against damage or loss to or resulting from your vehicle or its contents. Insure your new purchase.
