265 Cubic Inch V8 – Automatic transmission – Completely restored
One of only 700 Corvettes manufactured in 1955.In 1955 Ed Cole made the most significant change in the Corvette’s history. He added the V-8. This third year of production saw the addition of more colors, now five, with four interior options and three different colors of convertible tops. To some, the “Gen 1” Corvettes are the most iconic and to most the ’55 is recognized as one of the most rare being second only to the ’53 with 300 produced. To all who are fans of the Corvette this completely restored example offers the opportunity to own a significant piece of “America’s Sports Car History”. A wonderful example of one of only approximately 700 Corvettes produced in 1955.
